A Kulturinsel without tree houses is inconceivable. On top of the mountains, designed as a village, for a chicken run or as home for our island king ... . Made out of wood, concrete, or from an oak cask ... however even the island ghosts were quite impressed about the many different varieties when Germany's 1st tree house hotel openend in June 2005... .
Our well-wooded adventure leisure park offers alltogether eight tree houses which are located high up in the tree tops. All tree houses are connected via circuitous paths that all meet at the celebration platform in the heart of the hotel. In every tree house you find a little lounge, a bed alcove and a mini toilette. Additionally most tree houses have a balcony. Three of the eight tree houses also have an ensuite bathroom and can accomodate up to 6 people.
A very adventurous highlight to start your day with is our tree top-shock-shower with open-air drying. Beause so far we just couldn't persuade hot running water to come up into these "altitudes". Still a fine compensation is the stunning view into the Neisse Valley at sunrise.
Conclusion: nothing for mollycoddles!
Every tree house has its own story. Their previous owners -the island ghosts of Turi Sede- had made it themselves very comfortable. Therefore you find floral wallpaper as well as wall painting in Fiona's Luftschloss.
Judka for example has decorated her troll familiy house with fur and heavy carpets and in Bodelmutzen's Geisterschloss you will find the atmosphere quite mystical.
